I’ve mentioned and shown this sign before. We pass it on our way to hospital and the text at the bottom resonated immediately without really knowing why.

Translated it says something like ‘the best of the existing and the new’.

That’s how the blood transfusion – I had yesterday – felt. But it’s also how this whole process feels. Letting go of all I thought I was and/or needed to be. Letting go of the end result.

But also using everything I’ve learned over the years, while giving myself the freedom to really experience the depths of it. Reshaping. Rephrasing. Rebirth. It’s all in that one line. Using the best of  what’s available. Using the best of you. Using your talents. That’s a full circle for me. It’s been my passion for years. To show others the strength of their wings and to inspire them to fly.
